Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Julia Faenger studied law at Cologne University and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne within the framework of completion of the German-French masters degree (LL.M./maîtrise en droit). After having accomplished the first state exam in law, she completed her doctorate at the Institute for international and foreign private law at Cologne University on a German-French comparative legal topic. During her legal clerkship she also stayed in Brussels and Montréal. She was admitted to the bar in 2012 and is a specialist attorney at law for trade and corporate law since 2015.

Since May 2020 Dr. Julia Faenger is an attorney at law at the law firm Fiedler Cryns-Moll FCM Attorneys Partnership. Prior, she worked at an international business law firm as attorney at law for 8 years.

Activities and Main Focus

Dr. Julia Faenger has extensive experience as counsel for stock corporation law, limited liability company law and partnership law. She especially focuses on questions about D&O liability, corporate governance and compliance. Geographical emphasis is in this context put on advising French corporations seeking for business opportunities in the German market or wishing to further develop their existing business relations in Germany.
